ViewMaster operates entirely locally within your browser. The extension utilizes chrome.storage.sync to save your preferred settings (default playback speed and default video quality). This data is synced across your Chrome browsers logged into the same Google account, but it is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.

3. Permissions Explained

• Storage: Used exclusively to save and retrieve your speed and quality settings locally.
• Host Permission (youtube.com): Required to interact with the YouTube video player elements on the page in order to apply your chosen speed and resolution settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Our extension only interacts with YouTube. We have no control over YouTube's privacy practices, and you are subject to Google's Privacy Policy while using their service.
